Our mission
Small digital tasks should not require accounts, downloads or trust in an unknown server. Needing to count words, split a dinner bill, resize an image or generate a QR code is a 30-second job — so the tool you use for it should take 0 seconds to start and should never ask for more than the task itself requires.
99TopTool exists to make that the default. We publish 99 carefully built utilities across 10 categories — text, development, time and date, maths, finance, health, images, unit conversion, randomness and everyday life — and every single one of them runs entirely inside your browser.
Privacy is not a feature — it is the architecture
Most free online tools work by uploading your data to a server, processing it there and sending it back. Ours work differently: the page you load is the application. When you compress an image, hash a string or calculate a loan here, the computation happens on your device, using your CPU. Nothing you enter ever touches our infrastructure, because there is nothing to send. We do not operate accounts, we do not store your inputs, and we could not look at your data even if we wanted to.
How the site is built
The site is engineered for speed and reliability. Pages are statically generated with Astro and served from Cloudflare’s global network in 300+ cities, so a tool loads fast wherever you are. There are no heavy frameworks, no tracking pixels beyond cookieless analytics, and no dark patterns.
How we keep it free
Running the site costs very little by design, and unobtrusive advertising covers the rest. You will never see interstitials, fake download buttons or content locked behind a premium tier. If a tool exists here, it is free — today and permanently.
Editorial standards
Every tool page includes original documentation: a clear explanation of what the tool does, how to use it, and honest answers to common questions — including the limitations. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it.
